In fact, eating agar-agar can be a fun way to enjoy your holidays or simply eaten as a delicious guilt-free snack.     However, nowadays agar-agar is an easy delight in many functions and even day to day eating. Apart from its traditional recipes, agar is now widely used in vegetarian cakes, sweets and pastries.

Agar is a beautiful combination with party food and is super easy to prepare.

Five  reasons why agar is good for you

1.     Agar can fill up your stomach. Hence, it is a good snack for those who are dieting. Add fruits, berries, nuts and even boiled glutinous rice to add flavour, variety and taste to your agar! Agar has a gel-like quality to it. Hence,  agar when consumed stimulates bowel movement and prevents constipation. Agar can also be consumed by people with gastric as it 'cools' down the system and reduces gastric-induced pain caused by air trapped in the stomach. Agar can be added to boiled sago and consumed for bloated stomach.
